You have the $2000 to buy it... maybe... but what about the other $7000 for the filtration (media, pumps, containers, plumbing), heating, decor if any, FISH TO FILL IT UP. I think you underestimate this.... and that is why your crap is not believeable.

7000 grand is a bit high on filtration .could probly do it for a few hundred pound

Do you have yard space?. I wonder if you can put it outdoors and maintain it like an above ground pond. Fill it up with lots of plants to keep it clean.

Whatever you do, let us know what you decide to keep in there when and if you get it. Love seeing other peoples' big tank projects.

that's the kinda thing you should have figured out before you start calling it "my 5400"

by the way have you asked your dad about this yet, I'm sure his electric bill is going to sky rocket on top of the worry of 6000 gallons of water sitting in his house.

Wrong answer. Answer all of those questions, or this thread is gone, and will be considered spam.

Also, I'd love to know how you intend to afford the $1000 moving cost (roughly expect 1/4 of a mobile home movers cost), the minimum of $2000 filtration, the heater of a couple hundred, the water bill, the electric bill, and where will you drain the tank during water changes. A surge of more than 1000 gallons is enough to have your water department knocking.
