Looks fine for what you have, cichlids love rocks anyway, I know ppl saying add more fish, but be careful, your fish may think he owns the tank now. He probably will try to destroy another cichlid in there.
That tank looks big enough for that fish, and thats really niiice, reduce some of those rocks as there are too many focus points in that tank for decor, it is not looking good, keep one large rock which rises till the focus point of the tank, use the golden triangle method to ascertain the focal point and then keep one big rock and surround it with smaller rocks for a better looking scape
There is potential... personally the decor has to go. To many colors giving the viewer a distraction from the prize fish. I would go with dark colors to make the Cichlid stand out. Also not a fan on putting decor in a row... maybe 1-3 large rocks and then lots of small rocks?? I would say some plants but I think Cichlids tend to destroy plants and uproot them. JMO but if you likes, then who cares
I also would not add Tankmates with him, he looks aggressive
get rid of those fake plants...and brown substrate. replace with black gravel and black background...and rearrange rocks that are vertifical. your fish's colours will be more vibrant
