Did he though?
I'm pretty sure he's well aware of the risks of feeding wild caught fish to other fish.

its not only about the risk. Its about taking fish out of africa, shipping them from there to a shop. While halve of them die. And then the fact that he might end up as a feeder. That makes me mad. they are living animals. give some thought into it..Did he though?

It's a common occurrence when shipping fish over large distances. While halve of them die.
I’m not feeding the ropefish. Some may find feeding feeders as an issue, but I personally don’t mind it. The fish I fed was a clown knife, which was INTENTIONALLY bought as a feeder at first, but was questioning whether I could have kept it or not.its not only about the risk. im not against. I dont buy species who are threathened. But im against taking animals from the wild without the intention of giving it the proper care.If you are against the trade of wild caught fish,i hope you realize that even if you don't purchase any wild fish you are indirectly supporting the trade as well.

When everyone advised me not to, I went back to the original plan as a feeder fish. It had been in my 55g for around a week, if you found quarantining an issue.
I don’t feed feeder fish often, probably only tiger barbs once every 2 months from a farm which already quarantines them.
that seems like a very good looking combo!i really like tetras, probably going to buy some columbain tetras and neon tetras for my 55 gallon
