My 55g aquarium

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is what I removed:

7 red serpae tetras
1 common pleco
2 glow light tetras
2 silver tip tetras
1 balloon molly
2 cardinal tetras

What I added:
1 ropefish
1 senegalus bichir ( only growing it out before adding it to my other tank, not permanent resident)

I have reduced the stocking by quite a lot :)

and this is grown out?

55 gal is to small for an adult bichir or ropefish.
Also do you still have those gravel stones? Bichir and rope fish might eat those while feeding and die because of a stone stuck.

that pleco was a stupid idea... They have spines under their fins that could have killed your arowana.
If you feed please quaraintaine and never feed corydora's(deadly poison), pleco's, ancistrus or anytype of catfish that might have spikes ( with poison or without poison)

and btw you didn't even need to catch them. They would be bichir and eel food anyway in time.

Bro I know what I’m doing ya.
The bichir is 8cm. It can’t eat anything. All I’m doing is growing it out for awhile in the 55g. I tweezer feed both the bichir and ropefish.
my ropefish is surprisingly very peaceful, I even tried feeding it a tetra but it quickly spat it out after I tried feeding it.
My arowana isn’t dumb of course it didn’t eat the pleco, hard exterior. Go check out my Asian arowana thread. The arowana ate the corydoras 2 weeks ago, nothing has happened
