i just realized while looking at a video that the stoney part is out of the substrate, i have mine barried, what is the proper way??

Question. All my levels are good and im trying to get the two damels out of my tank (which i sold back to my lfs) and it seems i made my caves and hiding spots TOO GOOD. How can i get them out of hiding and into my net or anyother way to get them out?

yeah i have no clue what to do, i dont want to rip apart my liverock! Ditto! I cant seem to figure it out besides maybe getting a couple of nets and scaring it into one..
I almost am thinking about keeping my smaller one, he is way more passive then the larger one...

has anyone else had a similiar problem and actually caught them?

Take a clear 2 litter bottle (plastic of course) cut the top off and attatch a length of fishing line right near the top part with the top cut off.
Lay it down in your tank for a few days and during this time DONT FEED YOUR FISH!!
after two days or soo take the bottle and put a bit of food in the bottom and wait, watch..
When the damsel or damsels swim in there pull the fishing line up..
The fish will instinctively swim DOWN.. pull it out and you got your fish..
