Haha funny you should post that, i was just getting ready to do an update. I was out of town on buisness and let my girlfriend handle it while I was gone which come to find out was probably not the best of ideas. When i got home i found this layer of "dust" on all of my live rock...
Anyone know what that i might be?
I just did a 10-20% water change and moved some of my equipment around slightly, added my black background (looks awesome) and also have some new guys coming tomorrow...

Dust on the rocks...? Hmmm... I wonder if your pump got shut off or something... then turned back on. Always seems to spit stuff out when that happens... interogate the GF! Kidding! GREAT TANK!
ive been trying to decide how whiether to make a tank divider for my 75 gallon or two buy a seperate 10-20 gallon for a mantis shrimp, does anyone have any ideas or thoughts about this? would a divider work?
my only worry with an egg crete is that the mantis shrimp would work his way through the holes. maybe glass but what could i use to attach it to the glass of the tank itself, something that would work without having to drain the water...
