My 900 gallon 4 tank system will start being built next week.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
UPDATE:
Moved 3 of the 4 tanks worth of sand, rocks, and critters so far and I hope to have the 4th and final tank moved no later than this weekend. Tanks are a bit cloudy from all the silt in the sand so no picture updates yet. Spent 4 hours last night moving the 2 smallest tanks over. Will take another night to clean them out and moved to the garage.

Sump has so much water running through it that I had to ditch the idea of having a refugium area in there. Total flow is estimated at 4500 GPH and the current in there is very strong.

Sump room is also much warmer than expected with a huge amount of humidity. Will have to consider using a dehumidifier in there or try keeping the door open.

On the leaking tanks I added them up and I was off a bit, so perhaps a bit over stated. Of the 8 glass tanks in the past 10 years all of which were new except the All Glass (which is my last tank in the move) 4 Oceanics & 3 Perfectos all failed. All were covered under warranty and were swapped out. I know I have the worst luck. It's really funny cause if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. lol

I hear ya bro, if luck were a lady I'd have be a monk. It's so bad, I never bother wishing good luck to anyone, cause if the luck is commin from me, then eventually someones gonna come bck lookin for me, askin why I sent someone named "Uncle Murphy" to help them. Yes, Uncle Murphy, he's a very close realitive of mine, LOL.

Really your setup is lookin great & sound's like none of us can wait to see/hear more update's. Isn't ]V[FKer's the greatest website. :headbang2

Looking totally awesome, can't wait to see them completly up and running. Keep up the good work!

Can't wait to see some pics with the tanks finished. Should look pretty sweet regardless of what the stand looks like.

Sorry for the lack of updates.. All fish have been moved into the new tanks.. I have been busy with work and trying to clean up the basement from that 150 gallon tank leak as well as move out all the old tanks I just replaced.

I will get some new pictures right now for you all...

Wow great job! I love it when a plan comes together
