My 900 gallon 4 tank system will start being built next week.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
UPDATE:
Skimmer is up and running.
Sand is just about all washed and ready.
Adding the salt Friday night, then Saturday if all goes well I should have the remaining sand & rocks from the old tanks moved over, then finally the fish and remaining water will be moved. So a lot to do in 2 days I know but I'm ready.

I have had 15 or so glass tanks from 55 up to 220. Except for 1 they were all brand new. And except for the one used tank they all ended up failing and/or leaking all over the floor. :jaw-dropp :WHOA:  :jaw-dropp :WHOA:  :jaw-dropp :WHOA:

In fact I am standing in a few inches of water right now as my 150 failed at 4am and I am still cleaning up after it  It too was a new bought tank only 2 years ago. While the warranty of these tanks was always honored I have say I could care less about this one getting replaced as I will never own a glass tank of any size ever again.

If youre going to get a tank larger than 75 gallons I would say get it in acryilc. The chances are far less of an acrylic tank failing (well made that is) than any glass tank made by anyone. JMO

14 or so failed, I'm afraid to ask, over how many yr.'s? I know like it really matters. That has got to be some kind of record. 25+ yr.'s now, I've never heard of anyone having that many tanks, glass or acrylic for that matter failing. I'm thinking after the 5th or 6th 1, I may have said, guess it's time for a change, what endurance. To make it even more incredible, the only 1 that doesn't fail is a USED, what! Sounds fishy to me, lol. Dude seriously that got to be some kind of record, I'm calling Guinness right now, ok not really, just holding a Genius. But really, that's more than a bit alarming, there must not be a drop of Irish in ya huh, lol. Hope this new chapter your forging proves to be the turning point in the history of your aquarium's longevity issues, cause I don't think any of us could handle it if anything happened to these tank's  lol. Great setup, love'n every page. :clap
?, how long have you been considering/planning all this, who's your accountant & does she have a sister, lol :lol2:

just like set up a tripod and camera and catch the whole thing on film
(a.k.a. lot's o' pix please!!!:D)

Very nice set up! need an update!
