Yeah it's about the only thing that would support the weight of the tanks. I am thinking that after the tanks are in that you and I won't even notice the stands are there.. lol That's the plan anyhow.

Looks good so far! Saltwater is beautiful! I totally regret breaking mine down in a fit of rage when things started dieing! I am sure I will have another one soon! By the way the cat in the first picture looks just like my baby Parker.
