It is fish safe right out of the box. As far as I know, no chemicals will ever leach out of the liner. Atleast I hope not! I have had fish in it over a month now and only had a few small mosquito fish die- I don't believe it had anything to do with something in the water though.
Ok, well I spoke too soon about it going well! I added too many fish and not enough plants, resulting in the dreaded green water!!! I knew it was going to be tuff having this uncovered...
The worst part about this is that the canal where I was getting the plants from has been sprayed with herbicide! I have to search around now.
I'm like you man, I want the clearest water possible! Some people like the more natural look... I went to the website, found this pool... left the room and refreshed the page and it was gone!!! haha I'll probably just go to the store since it's right in front of my neighborhood. Good luck with clearing that water bro
If you are looking for one in a Target store, good luck. They don't usually carry these kind of items after summer is over. I looked around all my local stores for any kind of pool and couldn't find any. Thanks for the comments.
You can get the similar pools in the store at Target, Walmart, and Kmart but they will cost more...the target.com price was clearance. They're more like $200 in the stores but they go on sale down to $100, which is close to the .com price after shipping.
I think I'm gonna do one for my Florida gar, not sure what else I can put in.
