Unfortunately a lot of the time people read a statement about not mixing fish & take it as one of their beliefs without having any experience to back it up.
I'm not saying everyone should mix fish from all lakes.
But if you know what you're doing it can be done.
I have Frontosa, Mbuna, Tropheus, Haps & Peacocks in the same tank. All of them are breeding.

Yes have some male fryei 5 in fact they get along with everyone,really only bother themselves and then it is only some chasing havent lost any finnage or anything like that on any of my fish....![]()
