How is the feeding going... still only worms?

Yes. just worms still. Been trying to pump it with more worms so it can get bigger to eat small pellets. I want to say it eats the small tilapia particle mess that my bichirs make. But I'm not 100% sure.

No I haven't. I haven't tried to get onto other foods lately. It doesn't seem to show interest. Definitely the most stubborn African aro I've ever had. Will try again once it's larger. I wanna say it's eating the tilapia/pellet particles that my bichirs are leaving behind but I'm not sure.

The bichirs in the background are 13"-17". African aro looking slightly bigger lately. Loving it.

06/06/18 I'm probably going to stop feeding it blackworms in July and really start starving it until it eats other food. It's big enough by now. 15"-16".

7/17/18 I think it's slowly starting to eat the leftover pellet/fish debri floating around after my bichirs make a mess. The gar is 17", bichirs are 13"-15" for reference.
