Hmm... I just remembered, my brother did move out. I could put the alli pond in his old room! Haha, but I got enough pets right now.
that big one looks pretty ticked that he was picked up...they are deffinately cool but like i have stated in the past im not willing to risk myself for keeping an animal cause that would ultimately leave me risking the animals well being...you guys who do this successfully with alli snappers i admire your animals but you guys are still crazy...
An alli is not dangerous. You'd have to stick your hand in its mouth. even when picked up she has no way on earth to hurt you.

Im sorry miguel i meant to say potentially dangerous.
I actually tryed that. I left a chunk of truot filet in the tank and it was even touched.
But the turtle is constantly hunting so im debating with myself whether or not to leave alot of gambusia in the tank.

One of these days I'm going to get an Alli! Theyre so cool, been reading up on them a bit, and I think it would be fun to build an enclosure for one with a large water area and land are with lots of driftwood underwater and aquatic plants and such.
allis are a little dangerus sure they have a much harder time biteing you then the common snapping turtle but if a big common snapper bites you it will take your finger but a big alli will take your hloe hand not an animal to make mad there cool turtles but allis just get way to big i would much rather put fish in that size of a pond then a turtle plus they live for ever so there a big reponsiblity
