Awesome snappers! Their setup looks very nice, would love to see adult enclosure ideas if you have them yet. P.S. just do not listen to whinny people. They are all over this forum.

Thanks for the compliment, but honestly I have no time for idiots who make comments about how I take care of my animals. I posted pictures for you people to enjoy constructive critism...Okay... Pure lack of knowledge , no thanks

I havent been on these forums long but im starting to see who knows what their talking about. and I very much so appreciate your words of wisdom ;)

I have plans for when these animals get larger. AST as you know grow incredibly slow so by then I will have my own house. Im in my 4th year of pharmacy school, and will build accordingly when im out :D

Would you enjoy living in a drawer? I personally wouldn't. I know those systems are used to house snakes. I know they survive in them.
It is my own belief, that a Rubbermaid drawer is for pens and papers, not an animal. I hardly called out your method of caring for your animals, I simply voiced my own opinion. I do not like any rack system. They are diminutive, opaque hell holes. Even a corn snake deserves more than a 15 quart tub. A boa most certainly deserves more than a 30qt. If anyone chooses to house anything in those drawers to save space, their choice. I hate seeing pythons coiled in those containers, a five foot snake coiled in a ball with no room to really move disgusts me. I have yet to call you anything, I can restrain myself from acting on impulse because, one, there is no point in fighting over the internet; and two, it makes no difference anyway.

I am withdrawing any further input on this post, the OP disappointments me in his ability to take criticism and practice self control.

well it sounds like you have a pretty good plan. Keep us updated on their growth and if you start any plans with their eventual residence.

I attached a link below of the snapping turtle pond that I was in charge of for a few years. I no long work there but maybe it will give you an idea on how to do it. On one side of the brige (the side you see in the pic) is the ally snapper and on the other side (separated by a rock wall that was not viewable from the bridge) were all of the common snappers.

*that is me on the far end of the pond about to grab the big guy for his annual medical check up and media event.

The op's intention is to entertain us with pictures of a nice collection of snappers, I do not recall him asking for opinions on how he takes care of his animals and how he houses them.

To Richie_elp feel free to start your own thread so we can discuss the conditions of animals being kept in certain ways, but derailing someones thread isnt the way to go no matter how much you disapprove of his husbandry.

Exactly. Awesome pictures Mike. I may have to help you get some less blurry ones though...
