The op's intention is to entertain us with pictures of a nice collection of snappers, I do not recall him asking for opinions on how he takes care of his animals and how he houses them.

To Richie_elp feel free to start your own thread so we can discuss the conditions of animals being kept in certain ways, but derailing someones thread isnt the way to go no matter how much you disapprove of his husbandry.

and can he post pics of his reps there too?

apart from my male burm ALL my snakes are in boxes.
if i take my largest royal out of his box and put him in a viv he will die, he HAS to stay in his box where he feels safe and secure.

i have 2 5ft boas in boxes also...although they will b upgraded to vivs soon.

i know someone that keeps 8ft retics in a HUGE rack.

must also add that Mikeyyy your tat is yummy!
x

Nice gator snappers! I've always wanted to get one of those. I wasn't aware you could keep that many together. Do they fight at all or do you have to separate them during feeding?

Aboslutley! isnt that what a participating forum is for? I dont get where youre headed with the rest of your post though so please feel to elaborate on that in another thread so we dont derail this one anymore than it has been.

Nice AST collection Mikeyy!

Can you tell us alittle about how your pond system works? Like filter an heating. How big were your snappers when you moved them into a pond?

Mine has only grown about 1/4" since I got him, but really looking forward to him getting chiwawa sized! :naughty:

you said you were new so again welcome to MFK there are alot of very knowledgeable people. so just listen to people who know more than yourself. I dont know anythign about reptiles but I read that the bioload on snappers is big so judging by how clean you got the water and how nice your turtles look im sure your animals are all in good shape.
the only real interaction ive had with snappers is trying to dehook them when they grab my lure.

To everyone that posted in my thread I appreciate the kind words :D

Gonna take a lot of pics tonight so everyone can see my stuff

Nice setups for the snapper. For some reason snapper are one of the turtles I would love to have one day. Hopefully ina few years I will have.

Oh and welcome to MFK. I know nothing about turtles so any advice I have is useless :-)
