Update:

Had to pull out all the Vals, they just withered and died off.
Rehomed the Black Neon tetras and the Red Eyed tetras. Also changed the branches layout.

I think I like it better now with fewer fish. Been considering selling off the Bleeding Hearts and Roselines and getting Swordtails.

I figured out what happened to my plants. So it's been warm as of late, with summer here and all. The tank is in my bedroom along with my computer. So I spend a lot of my time in there. Now add this all up, summer, computer dumping extra warm air into the room and the lights to get the plants to grow made the room unbearable. So I turned down the lights, now I also don't even use my computer to keep the room cool enough.
I ended up losing the vals and the stem plants. Only 2 of the new ones ordered stayed alive and actually grew in the low light setting. 20200803_212716.jpg20200803_212720.jpg
So now I know, can't do a planted tank in my room, to much extra heat. I'll see if I can get some more of what I have. That Amazon is still growing out as well.

There has been more fish moves as well. The Roseline sharks and the Apistogramma have found new homes. So now its just the Nanos, Bleeding Hearts, Ornatus, PTC, and Corries. I actually like it more now. The remaining fish are more active. Roselines were food hogs big time. I believe I lost three Corries from the Roselines hogging up all the food.

So weird about the vals though...my vals grew the best in my warmest tank at 84

I did find liquid ferts killed them by melting the leaves

Maybe a combo then, the liquid ferts and low light did them in.
My light you can set the intensity of white, red, blue, green individual manually. I set it for just one notch of each. When full intensity is 15 or so.
This is the lvl I set.

I like the setting you chosen. The bright is too Bright.

I’d bet bc anything it was the liquid ferts. Even in one of my low light tanks it lives, doesn’t grow or spread but also doesn’t die.
