I am sorry I shouldn't have stated a price. I am actively working to lower the cost of the system so the average person could afford it. First thing was the building of the system and get it working properly. And now I can focus on reducing the price while trying to maintaining the same functions.

Also just FYI> Patents are good for 20 years now, not 17.
- Probate is only when someone dies, has absolutely nothing to do with patents unless someone died and left you the patent. "Died" is the key for probate.
- A signature here in the U.S. is very powerful, we take contracts very seriously and a signature solidifies that.
- Copy right is huge.......... okay I'm done.
If somebody else goes to market with the simular device, it is not until it is judged on in court, that anything can be done. My point being that process takes along time...
Allow me to retort, There is not a dam thing anybody can do if you reverse engineer this or anything like this for personal use...Like I said in an earlier post, I will never be a customer, rest assured. Don't get it twisted sassy, I'm not trying to steal your patent, or anything else. I'm just trying to speed up the process in which you do the big reveal...this is worse than the LaBron "decision"
From the sounds of it, nobody is going to be a customer...
sassy, you say you hold the patent to this process...is it an approved patent or patent pending? if it is patented what is the US patent number? If you don't mind me asking...

This system doesnt make much sense to me, technically. The point of it (from what I gather) is not to ever do water changes. How about evaporation? You still have to ADD water. And by adding only RO water would not your buffering capabilities diminish over time (crashing your pH)? Another thing is the systems capability to go from hard water to soft water and back again (if I read Sassy's replies correctly) how? And would this extra/waste TDS not have to be trapped somewhere, then disposed off/changed that media/compartment?
One person commented on converting nitrate into nitrogen, that would be cool (what effects does nitrogen have on the fish/aquarium)?
Nature already has a perfect system: fish eat and poop/pee, bacteria eat the poop/pee and produce nitrite, other bacteria eat the nitrite and produce nitrate and plants eat the nitrates, with an automatic top-off system called rain. It's a beautiful thing.
I do W/C because I dont have any plants and to top-off the water that evaporated and to keep the TDS from accumulating in the tank (only pure water evaporates). Why buy a complicated machine (if it exists) to do something so simple?
