Well from what I understand red belly can get up to 30 inches but not likely in aquarium settings.

I also have to stress the importance of a big tank, especially if you get an RTC. I don't think an RTC will be so harmonious, and the only thing I think it will be incapable of eating will be a full grown Pacu... but everything else in that tank will eventually be eaten. And Pacus have been measured at 40 inches, which makes a large tank all the more important. Good luck and I hope the harmony continues.
The RTC will be temporary as mentioned previously. I will see if the harmony continues when the day comes when it is introduced to the tank. If not then I have other free tanks to house it while my friend settles in to new home.
Additionally, I previously mentioned getting a 10 foot tank for an upgrade to my current 5 foot community and understand the need for a larger space.

Kaliedoscope;4934222; said:do they not fight because they don't have territorial markers? I don't like tanks like this, fish need a safe place to sleep at night at least . Thats just my opinion though, i bet its really easy to clean. but i bet it gets dirty faaaassst.
I know its not decorated much at all. Don't get me wrong, I do love all other members tanks that are decorated, use gravel, plants, etc. I just prefer the ease of cleaning.
Doesn't get dirty that fast....standard weekly WC's like all my other flowerhorn tanks. I am running an over head wet/dry filter with lots of media like most of my tanks that keep water very clean and clear.
This is my Wet/Dry OHF.

My understanding is that the red belly doesn't get that large in aquarium settings. I also think that's a black pacu that get enormous in size compared to the red belly.
