My aro is in trouble!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wow i am sorry.. i quess the bottles of meds can go bad..i hope everything turns out okay..we have our fingers crossed,.

:rip Dude..sorry to hear your loss man. :(

I am very sorry to hear this.. i don't understand things like this, often you hear how they were eating one minute and gone the next.. very sorry for your loss.

Sorry man. That really bites. I know it's frustrating when we try so hard to help them and they die, you really tried, at least you have him a chance. Are you going to get another Aro?

of course he will. He'll star again. He is an Aro guy, as you are an Aro girl...:D

I'm still bummed about losing him. I don't know what is in those medications but they always seem to do more harm than good. I had for shiners in there that were super healthy. The meds made their slime coat production go into hyper drive. Two shiners were dead yesterday when I got home. Their mouths were choked with slime. This morning another one died. The last one shed it's slime and is doing fine. They were suppose to be sacrificial cannaries.

As for another aro, I am undecided right now. There is a local jardini breader, so we will see. I recently got into my fish farm records and the going wholesale rate for an 8 inch silver is twenty dollars. Maybe the time is coming to open shop...even if for only a day or two.

Damn..which meds? Melafix? Pimafix? or both of them used in conjunction?

I'm surprised if its melafix...since its supposedly all natural herbs. Pimafix on the other hand...since on the bottle it states it can cause cancer.

Which is another reason I don't like using meds if I don't have to. Especially with aro's, and I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS...aro's are sensitive to meds. Salt, higher temps and good clean water has not failed me yet but thats has been always debatable.

Hmmm...jar breeder? Sweet.

Again, sorry for your losses...but on the bright side of things, you can always start over..I know it's not the same but...you know what I mean. :D
