Kelvin.. you should really learn to read a post correctly before assuming what Spatula wrote. Let me translate the post from Spatula so you can understand it.
Here is his post: 'I don't know you guys but according to the picture posted on the first page of this thread, I would have to agree with Vincentwugwg on this one. A real snow alligator gar would not have that much grey coloration on the top. '

The whole time you thought Spatula was talking about my gar when in fact he was commenting on yours... Kelvin.. Kelvin

And it doesn't have a grey top.

Looks greyish to me but I have to admit.. this picture of your spatula looks much better.. plus your rtc has a lot of dark spots... After cafeful review of your spatula... I can say I owe you an apology. I assumed from your posted pics on the first page of your thread.. that the gar in question was a spatula when in fact it is a FL gar... my bad. I figured since you were into collecting rare defective fish that your spatula would not take the shape of a normal Alligator Gar. They are not the same fish.

Here is a picture of my rtc for comparison.

You have a good grade rtc. I am going to sound impolite again... Hope you forgive me.. Your rtc put in black tank will show black spots. The since yours is a good grade rtc .. The amount of black spots will be much lessor.

I have had him in a all black tank for the past 2 months and still no black spots. The rtc posted is the one on the top or right rtc. The one on the left is a lower grade.

I hate to continue with the derail but does the rtc do the same thing as the tsn and change colors like a dat going "stable" and "unstable"?
