Do keep a VERY close eye on it. Just because I've never seen something happen doesn't mean that it's imposssible.

Also, add your moon lights if you haven't done so already. IME, tigers get VERY flighty in the complete darkness.

Don't worry I will be ;) and my sister has got an led bubbler thing she's not using so I will pick that up in a little while and use that until I can get something better, should I leave it on all night or just to help the transition?

My led moonlights run 24/7. Even Max's big old butt would absolutely freak if left in complete darkness after almost two years of taming.

ATF are very visual animals.

I don't know if your tank setup has a lot of flow/current, but if it does, I highly recommend not bothering with trying mollies. When I had my TATF, that's exactly what I used as teacher fish. The mollies don't like a strong current at all, and a lot of them ended up dying from the stress of trying to swim with the increased flow. The ones that didn't die were killed by my TATF in pretty short order. They don't take well to being beaten up at all.

If you're only wanting them to be teacher fish and don't mind the ATF taking them out later, I would give the bala sharks a try if the TFBs cause any further issues. Just make sure they're of equal or slightly larger size than your TATF, and he shouldn't mess with them until he gets a little more size on him. Once the teacher fish have served their purpose, you can always return them to the LFS or give them away for free on the forum.

Good point. Mollies are not strong swimmers. Balas are probably a better choice.
