Yea I know it’s a risk but can’t think of any other “showpiece” mid/top dwelling fish to fill the gap and I do like them so I guess just hope i get a tolerant one! Lol do you know if any of them are more peaceful than others? Atm I’m thinking either RTG or Banjar red
Generally, Australian (jardini then leichardti) > Asian > South American (silver then black) > African in terms of aggressiveness.
 
Thanks. Just picked up this little beast from a friend at my lfs, he’s super skinny like you see his skull!! But if he makes it and the bass don’t kill him when he goes in their tank I’ll probably skip the aro...

The GATF didn’t make it unfortunately but the bass are doing awesome, still eating for that blue to start coming in but the rest of their colour is amazing! The pictures really don’t do them any justice! Anyone got any experience with keeping a jardini aro with bass? Tempted to try it but worries they will tear each other to pieces!

It's not impossible to find a jardini that's not super aggressive, but they can be great for a long time and then just snap one day.
