MY BABY FAHAKA HAS ICH

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Also, make sure you vaccum the bottom of your tank very well with each water change to try and remove any fallen ich cysts that came off the fish...

Otherwise this may end up as a never ending battle...

Yea for sure I've been vacuuming it out almost every time. Was actually thinking about switching the substarate to black sand instead so i was thinking about taking it out and going bare bottom till they got better. What do you think?

Naturally a barebottom tank will be easier to clean when dealing with ick and if you are in a losing battle it maybe worth a try...

Only problem is removing all the substrate at once may crash your tank as there is a lot of BB on the surface of the substrate as well...

So basically if you go that route maybe take out a little at a time to prevent further problems...
