A bit early to tell. But I think you could be right, it does have female characteristics.

Yes still a little too early to tell. Here's some shots of my juvenile male back in 2006 (lol) when he was about 3.5" TL to help you out a little. Your fish does have female characteristics however. Notice the nice trailing fins on mine.
