I have 2 baby peacock bass they are 3 inches. One is just not eating the other cant swim using his tail and barely moves as he sits on the bottom also not eating he looks emaciated and can't even swim out of my hand. I brought them raised on pellets I have tried feeding them everything for live baby guppies (that I breed and medicated) to mysis shrimp and the very same pellets they were fed on in shop. They do not move at all. The ph is 7.5( same as the shop) ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 0 temp 25. 400l tank in a 2000l system they are the only fish so far flow rate through the tank is steady. The darker one can barely stay upright. Also dont know exactly what type of peacock they are i know they are probably to young to tell but any ideas im happy to hear them. Pls help

how long have they been with u ?
usually fish wont eat or move for a day or two after transportation as they r stressed, especially babies.Maximum 5 days starvation for that size
otherwise, try using epsom salt - {1 to 3 teaspoons per gallon} , keep them in a temp of 75 to 81 degrees Fahrenheit. do a 20 to 30 % waterchange once every 3 days.
Also give them plenty of places to hide and don't use strong aquarium lighting .Something is wrong with the swim bladder ,which helps the fish to swim.A salt bath will do . If the other pb is not eating ,u must hand feed it by gently putting food up to its stomach. Remember to use easily digestible food like finely cut prawns and sleek fish .Push the food gently using a twitzer until u can feel it in its belly, otherwise it might spit it out.Remember ,this should only be done as a last resort.

I think they are Xingu or orino .if u can post a pic of them in the tank as color changes when u take fish to a net.
It could even be a hybrid.

Small reminder, NEVER keep 2 pb in one tank .Always keep 1 or more than 4 .cuz u might end up with 1 dead .
