my baby rbp's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've Had RBP before, about 10 of them. in a 55.

IMO, Your better off getting a Canister Filter that will have a good amount of water being cleaned.

If your feeding live (which is what i did) it's gonna get messy and the water will foul with HOB filters.

AT the time i HAD 2 Huge Whisper HOB filters and had to clean them out all the time.

Water was always cloudy and the Substrate always Dirty with fish remains and Feces.

Just IMO tho.

Good Luck

personally, alot of people might not like the filter but i purchased a Fluval 405 for my 55.

it's not the best out there, but it does the job and i'm happy. if you look around you can probably find it for cheap.

MY LFS had it for 199 but i purchased it for about 110.

you can also buy a small one and keep the two you have running.

i do that on one of my tanks.

man i just finish checking them canister filters out and they cost like h311 but i might uy one after i move cause rite now im in the process of buy another ex70 for the other side of my tank and some tops and lights also for my tank and i may decorate my tank wit plant and things of dat nature

dude im not trying to be mean but it seems like you dont do enough water changes or gravel vacs. you should be doing it at least once a week. ive never had a cloudy fish tank. i use ac110 filters you can get them for 43 dollars if you use the link on this website. i reccomend 2 of them, and you should fill the tank with driftwood and fakeplants. give your cichlids to someone who doesnt want them to die, how old are you like 13?

Don't Bash em. He'll learn with a Loss. We all do.

Our ADVISE is don't Just sacrifice fish. give them away or as your LFS to trade them for something.

Personally, I recommend you don't even have the RBP. they'll eat a whole in your Pocket fast as if you don't feed them all the time they'll eat eachother.

i had this happen many times.

But good Luck.
