Have had this guy for approximately 11 years now. Stubborn eater but I've had him to the vets and he's checked out with a clean bill of health each time.

love it. A pity constrictor snakes are forbidden in Portugal.
Yours is a beaut!!

wow he is a real pretty boy...you can see how healthy he is in his eyes and skin.. excellent condition..

does a snake such as this, which cannot stretch in the tank, need to have time out? does it runa around the house? how does one do with those awesome beasts?

I usually don't let it slither around the house because I have 2 cats but he loves to slither around my arms or I will close off a room (usually my bedroom)for him to slither in so the cats can't get to him. Usually when I take him out he'll coil around my wrist like a bracelet. Not very active in the cage, usually wrapped up in a ball shape in his hidey hut unless he's hungry or shedding. After picking him up he will stay in a ball shape for a minute or two and then he's like "oh time to start exercising" lol

All the kids in the neighborhood seemed to have moved away from my house so I may take him outside to roam the backyard this summer.

great!

Very nice! It must be awesome to have had him for 11 years.

Cats ruin everything, i havent been able to let my 5.5ft BCC out to roam in a while due to the new kitten.

I need to get some pics posted,

Very awesome BP tRip!
