Once again, amazed by your kitties. I love love LOVE them. Question for ya, when your giraffe gets spooked, or you are changing water, does the top of its head fade in color like sand is on top of its head? Mine does... but if I reach in and pet him, it goes away (after a few minutes).

My land kitty made me mad by showing me how he learned how to balance on the balcony railing. (he's 20lbs and fat, and the railing is an inch by inch.. I took him in and brought him up to the giraffe cat and told him if he did it again i would cut him into tiny pieces and feed him to the fishies. He was like ok ok ok ok stoooop. Now I know how to punish him. He loves the little tanks, but hates the big ones that he knows he can fit in....

I was going to ask you, since you have set up the 600, has your electric bill gone up a lot?

Yeah the top of his head gets lighter where the armor is. Then once he thinks food might be coming he's back to normal. big ol' pig.

Keep big kitty off railing! Hopefully its not a second story. I've treated a couple cats over the years that fell doing the same thing. Some of them made it after fixing limbs and removing jarred/broken teeth, but some didn't. Their organs were punctured by broken bones.

Our electric bill has gone up about $75 from when we put it together. Frighteningly enough, though, that's without the air conditioning we will be running in the summer. (It cooled down about the same time that this went up.) Good news is that at least in the summer we won't have about 1800 watts of electric heaters going!

nice...out of curiosity at what size diff. did you put the ck in with them, cause i am riding the fence with my ck...i just put it in and am rethinking the idea as my kitties have grown more then i thought...
