If you got a minute could you tell me what pangasius your newest rescue is? Nice looking fish by the way, your tank makes me feel small.

My fish make me feel small! I love it! :) You mean which individual or which species? Pangasius hypothalmus is the species, and this is the new guy, although he's MUCH fatter now. He's an oinker!!

Wow. Big Iridescent, thought it was a Paroon. Mines like six inches now, so awesome, my tank looks like a scale model of yours. Is that guy any more aggressive than the miniature version I own. (Actually I just added a Paroon and my Id doesn't seem to appreciate it. He is attacking him as often as he can even though he's giving up a few inches. Wacky world, any ideas why that's happening catwoman?)

Paroons are quite aggressive in comparison to ID sharks. The paroon will mostly likely outgrow your ID, and your ID could become lunch. I've heard of this unfortunate scenario happening several times now.

Well, as ID's go, then its his only really good feature other than he's a good eater and super friendly. This one really is a true rescue in every sense. I don't know if too many would have brought him home. His head is funny looking, his eyes are too big and kind of pulled in oddly, he was skinny, and listless. However, his looks have already improved some since I've gotten him, but I don't think he'll ever be fully normal. He's on a great diet, eating very well, and getting dewormed atm. His eyes don't look as strange as they used to. I suspect part of the problem was that he was skinny. Also, he still has a lot of growing to do, so if he's not terribly stunted, he might actually start to look more and more normal. However, as I said, for an ID, he's super friendly, so it makes me even happier to have saved him.
