you should of stopped and had a snickers, it would of made things better in the middle of crazy holy crap water fish valve sump pump all doing there jobs the way there supposed to but you were on mental vacation.. should of had a snickers man...

:WHOA:

dont worry, I learned after a big water mess. not to put the airpump on the floor without an antisiphon valve. it might come off and gravity feed all your water on the floor over night...:WHOA:

i have flooded my wood floors many of times, invest in a good floor fan to dry out them floors quick, i wonder if they make an alarm that would sound when your sump gets too full, that way you can get it shut off before disaster strikes.

you can replace the tank cheaper than wood floors.. did your wife pull out the :banhim:sign and one more time you and the tank are in the garage?

I work in the fish department at Petsmart- We try to flood something atleast once a week.:headbang2 Sink: overflowing while using the python, overflowing while filling for dishes and walking away. Bleach barrel: overflowing while filling for Deco. Rolling barrel: overflowing while receiving fish.... I dont know if there is ever a day I go to work and not get wet and fishy. Of course, then I go home and clean my own tanks I get wet and fishy:D Im just a wet and fishy type of gal ;)(and I seem to be wetter lately with the constant battle between me and my new sump- it wants to run dry then flood, it hates me!)

you've got to have a few floods before you're really good at it :)

I used to work at a fish store. We would purposely over flow the feeder tanks at least once a week as the water would go under our wall and into the restaurants kitchen next door. If you went over and mopped up the water (they even had a floor drain) the pie chef would give you free pie!

When you get as good at flooding the house as I have there are 2 more things you will need the first is a good fan the other is a carpet machine.
