It seems like he ate something, probably snagged a few pieces of Shrimp or Tilapia. I would make sure all the cats are accounted for, it really seems like a nice cat lump ;)

I don't think so, it looks like a Male.
 
yup as TGM said, it's bloat. And the redness on the belly could be septicemia. Do a search for 'bloat' on here, and find a post by member 'Oddball' that has a suggested treatment. Personally i haven't been able to find anything that works for bloat, including this treatment i mentioned.
 
Metro worked for me when some of my fish had bloat. I just wish I had been faster as I could have possibly saved more of them. I suggest you start treating him and fast.

Wow, what would cause bloat to do that so fast? ....and how do you know it's a male?
