My Black Ghost Knife is acting weird. Help please!

One thing I have found very useful is that I have two separate lights on top of my tank, one stays on and the other is always off. Of course, he likes the dark area but he's constantly active.

i do the same, but (s)he stays in the same spot whether it has the light on its side or night

Another thing you could try is get a large flat rock. Lean it up agains the front or side of the tank. It will use this to "hid", but it'll be in plain view for you to enjoy. I did this with my clown, and it worked great. Haven't tried it with my BGK. I do have a ghost tube, but he doesn't use it all that much, preferring the darker cave.

same, i just changed the tank to a bigger one but its acting weird, it just acts dead in the plant...
