My brother makes a big mistake....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well after doing water changes with my brother for the past 5 weeks I guess he still hasnt learned his lesson. He went to do his water changes today and flooded his room. Poor guy is in huge trouble. Ofc my parents also blame me for letting a 10 year old do his WC. But he cant have me help him forever!
I lost a few gallons on the floor last night while scrubbing alage off the glass, didnt notice till my feet were wet, I was like 6 inches from the bucket i was filling too....

Crazy I used to get myself home from school, do my own laundry, mow the lawn, and chop veggies for dinner at 8. Think I started laundry at like 5, whenever I could reach the buttons on the 3 step stool.
There are some 10 year olds I would trust with a gun and then there are some 30 year olds I wouldn’t trust with a butter knife, it all depends on the individual.

Parents are almost always easier on the 2nd child and more so with each child.

Sure, so did I and I was fine... But around the same time I also pulled some bullets out of a cabinet pulled them apart and then set them on fire to see what would happen, set a roll of paper towels on fire in the laundry to see what would happen, jumped into the bathtub with all my clothes on to see what would happen, and forgot a gallon of milk in my closet until it exploded...

I don't remember what the hell I was thinking with that last one.

So I'm not sure you can make a case for even "responsible" kids not doing stupid things.

I made the mistake of not checking the sink the python was dumping into and almost overflowed a utility sink full of water... lessened learned.

Literally just finished a 50% water change after a 6 hour flight cause the person who was supposed to feed my fish over the week and do two 15% water changes (tank is still cycling) just threw in a **** load of tilapia the first night so they didn’t have to feed them every night (can’t believe I never thought of that!). Came home to a bunch of rotting tilapia and ammonia at nearly 1ppm ?

Moral of the story don’t trust anyone to do your water changes or care for you tanks like you would!

Damn. That friend would be permanent no contact from me holy crap. Pill containers, fill the food for each day you want to feed. Also, most fish can go a while fasted.
