oh really? Cool.
What huge pearl carpinte? May we see?
I don't really have one yet, hope their pearl get huge as they grow. You can go to youtube and search for "Carpintis vontehillo", they are 3".

where did you get your carpintis animal guy? in all honesty and this is just what i've gathered from reading about carpintis and cyanoguttatum, you may have a hybrid of the two. if i'm not mistaken carpinte don't have pearls that form lines like you have there. a cyano's pearls will, but that's just my two cents though. <edit> and after looking at dominator's avatar i see i stand corrected</edit> unless bought from a breeder with the title f0-f2 i wouldn't worry about the variant.

I got it at a fish store. And I can agree about not worrying about the variant at this point. I also believe that it could be any variant crossed but it is still a carpinte. Just wanted to see what ppl had to say and I learned some things.
This girl Im waiting to hook up with my red texas. My rt is my alpha pet and I want him to stick with his kind and find a green texas gf so they can be happily ever after. But I a also dreaming of a pair of major pearls Cyano.:drool::drool::drool:

I know what you mean about finding a pair of major pearl cyano. Herichthys in breeding colors are easily my fav.
