They were hard to get over here as well but Wes from rare fish got in a batch a few months ago... I managed to get one during that time :D. And thank you :).
 
Update on my perch:
He hit his head pretty hard a couple of months ago and wasn't able to stay upright (swim bladder injury). Didn't think he was going to make it but I didn't want to give up either... After a month of struggling and had feeding he started to recover and how he is healed fully! Here is a pic of him from yesterday: image.jpeg

Glad it was able to make a full recovery and it's looking really nice.How big is it now?

Thank you. And the growth rate has reduced a lot, mainly because of me lol.

I want to put him in my big tank with atfs tarpon, my payara and other predators but their growth rate is a lot slower compared to this guy. So I put the perch in a heaterless tank and reduced his feeding as well. His growth rate went from 2" every month to about .5" every 2 months mainly because of reduced metabolism. And he is around 10-11" now.
 
Wow,almost a foot!....I have added heat to my two growouts and the bigger one is pushing five inches.I'll try to get some shots of them tomorrow.​
