And come on man. How the heck would you need a 350 just for 2 fish?

these 2 fish are going to end up being 30" and 24". You dont need a heard of monsterfish to have an interesting tank. Imo you should get rid of either the clown knife or the arowana and keep your favorite fish by himself in the 220. No aggression problems and plenty of space for the fish. Isn't that what you wanted?

The tank is going to fit both though. 72 x 30 x 24 is fine for fish up to 30 inches. The footprint is 6 x 2.5. And a fish that is 2 foot long would be fine. Even a 2.5 foot long fish would be fine.

Recently the fighting stopped because I moved the knife and the arowana isn't fighting with my Senegal anymore (who will be staying in my 75.). I'll move the knife to the 225 along with my big bichir first. Then leave them there for a while with the jardini in the 75 temporarily. Then move the jardini in when the clown and bichir have been in for a while. The jardini will be put in last.

A 220 won't fit these two get rid of the clown because captive bread get bigger than wild so I think that clown could get 36 maybe even 40

If the fish you have dont come to terms in the short run, lesser chance of being tankmates in the long run, just my 2 cents.

Lots of good advice on this thread although at the end of the day, you just gotta do what you gotta and wanna do for your fish, no matter what advice you receive from other fellow fishkeepers

Keep learnin from experience and Good luck with your current and future plans for you fish :)

Dude, do you research before you tell me stuff? I read that clown knife grow smaller captive bred than in the wild. Captive bred cannot get bigger than wild! And in captivity they rarely get over 20 inches! Before you tell me to get rid of fish and tell me that they grow bigger in the aquarium (what the heck? How is that possible, fish don't grow larger captive bred.), please remember to research.

some captive bred fish do actually get bigger than in the wild. Especially if it was bred to be larger than the wild fish. Some fish are bred to be larger than the wild ones because they are used as farm fish to eat. I know clown knife are used as food fish so maybe.
