.50 ammonia could kill ur rays in that small tank.... need to upgrade ur filters and do more wc's
I totally agree aj. After work today, I'm going to add my emperor 400 and penguin 330 hobs. In the meantime, I'm also going to purchase a cpr cs overflow box to attach to my current sump. I'm thinking about picking up the highest gph box I can buy? That way I could always upgrade my water pump if needed.
Oh and most importantly a WC will be done today. Will these be ok to add to new water when filling my tank back up? Meaning will they be safe for my rays? ex. stress coat, stress zyme or amquel plus and prime?

MY 3 inch mono pbass is eating my flowers! What the heck is that about? He's nibbling on them saw it this morning.
Oh, and what do u guys use with new water that is going into the tank when doing WC? I have stess coat, stress zyme, amquel plus, salt and prime. Are these safe for rays? Ty

why did u get stingrays if you don't know how to care for them? I mean really... this guy is annoying, and im done posting on this thread. he clearly doesnt know about proper ray keeping. I feel sorry for these flowers

That's your opinion. I'm just trying to be safe and do whats best for them. I've done research before hand.

You say you have done research????? What.....did you ask your supplier what you should do????

I have to agree with AJ on this one. Even I posted at the beginning of this thread (or it was your other painful thread where we were telling you that you were getting scammed), that you best do a LOT of research before jumping into keeping rays. You have gone about this all *** backwards, and not listened to any of the experienced keepers advice.

Now you have two more sensitive rays ,In too small of a tank, that has ammonia in it, that is underfiltered, and you have tankmates that are not really suitable.....yet you STILL ask these questions......Usually people have the tank, water, filtration, tankmate issues all sorted BEFORE the rays are introduced.....not after! These Flowers are in for a poor life or early death, if what you have done so far is any indication of your ability to keep them healthy and happy.

This thread has been brutal to follow and now I must say that I feel bad for your rays....if you actually LISTENED to some of the advice that has been given to you, you would be richer....not only in your experience with rays....but your pocket book as well!

Maybe get some books and do a bit of ACTUAL research....educate yourself

I'm out

wow MASSIVE AGGRESSION is still in business?!?!
cant be possible, not that ****ty vendor. HAHAHA

Thank you for the nice compliments!
I bought some worms last night, n crawlers and red worms. At, least that's what the container says. I asked the clerk if he had red wigglers said no. But, after picking out 2 dozen of n crawlers he picks out these small worms. There inch to inch half long, thin and swiggly.
Chopped up one n crawler (inch long) and feed a few red worms. The female flower ate all the red worms I dropped in. Attempted to eat the single piece of n crawler I added. But, didn't fully consume it. I don't know if the piece was to large or not? She must of ate the insides cause when I took the piece out. It was pretty flat and limp.
The male didn't eat anything and didn't go for any worms.
