would be cool if you can catch the bottom fish up and if they took turns swimming right side up.... if it worked in harmony it would be very cool but if one is destined to live upside umop then its unfair... that being said an animals drive to live is strong, im sure they would rather not feel the pain of being seperated or want anything to change if they are being fed...

Thanks justarn but it will no work as the top fish is the bigger & stronger fish so he is in control.

I have a question. Do they poop independently of each other? Cause that can be a sign of weather or not they both need to be feed. If they poop separately then they will most likely both need to be fed. If only one poop then their gi track is most likely shared and only one needs to eat. This poop thing is concrete but will be a good indicator or how to care for em.

To be fair if they was both as strong as each other that might cause even more problems if the both desired to go different ways they could rip themselves apart

I think the right thing to do would be to try and save the top one
Let's face it if two human children was joined like this chances are doctors would try to spectate then even if their is a chance one or both might not make it

Like I said even if the made it at some point they would probably start fighting

I think the best thing to do is try to save one not sacrifice them both for some freak show

They both hv a separate anus as both poo out of their own anus thanks for yr interest both eating well till fat with feeder guppy & bottom fish eats on its own with live tubiflex worms & dead guppys during parking mode. Will just let them grow up together as long as they can survive my job as a hobbyist .

How do you feed the bottom 1 without the top 1 stealing from it?

Both aros are feeding on their own .
The top fish will chase feeder fishes & live tubiflex the bottom fish will sometimes eat live feeder too. It will usually eat during parking mode or fish resting on tank base, the bottom fish feed on worms or dead feeders below tank floor.

I would try to separate.
They might be worth more conjoined, but i would still try to separate, you might be able to save them both, here is a video of a larger on, the button arowana seems complety bent, your dosnt seem this way yet, so as i said maybe you could save both fish.
