My delhezi tank

Really nice. There is 1 pic that shows where the driftwood is cut by saw. I would attach a plant there to hide that saw cut.

You mean the Driftwood on pic 4 right?
Yes there is a saw cut but it’s only on the backside so it’s ok for me.

Another thing i want to ask you:
About 2 weeks or so i feed mostly the Hikari Pellets because the Dels really like them.
Since then i realised that the dels „poop“ is different, it’s more reddish now and not as compact as it used to be when i fed them frozen food.
Do you have any related experiences when feeding pellet food to your bichir?

I just found out one of my Dels has cloudy eyes on both sides.
I‘ll try to fix this with bigger Water changes the next days and adding a bit salt.
Can i use any salt?

That is a fantastic looking set up I love it and the stock, not kept bushfish for about 20 years but I remember them being a cool tank

What else will you stock in it? Butterflyfish would be nice

Has someone an idea of putting Salt into the Water?
Or should i just stay with the Water changes if the eyes dont get worse?

So it‘s almost a week now since i realised the cloudy pattern on both eyes (the eyes itself are both clear!).
It didnt get worse but also not really better.
The Poly still shows normal behaviour, he is active and eating very well.
I think he also can see through his eyes because he comes towards the glas when im infront of the tank.
Im doing 25-30% Waterchange every day now and added catappa leaves.
I turned the temperature up to 78,8 (normally 77).
Is there something else i can do? I dont want medication because all bichirs doing well and it would destroy my filtration bacteria.
