My delhezi tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So a pair of Teugs would be Fine in my tank size?
Are they very active?
I had two teugs in with my other polys. I have ropefish, dels, polli, moke, Palmas, sens. I gave my teugs away. Both hit 18" in about 1.5 years. While growing I had 0 issues with them acted like the dels out most of the time and active. At 18" they killed and ate a ropefish and I had noticed split tail fins on most of my other polys. I rehomed them both. I really like teugs I may try another eventually. But those two were quite aggressive. The tank they went to had a mix of lower jaw polys. They apparently killed a anasorgi about two days after arriving. He took them to an lfs.

Nice looking tank and love the fish!

Thank you for your replys!
Now because of the mixed reactions here about the teugs i will skip them and stay with the pollis instead.
Dont want to risk any trouble.

Epic tank man!
I didn’t realise dels grew that fast! My sen was ~10cm when I got him, now he’s about ~18cm
+1 for butterfly fish
Yes the Dels are growing very well at the moment.
The biggest one is a bit above 20cm i think.
In Josh‘s „Bichir Handbook“ it says Delhezi can grow up to 2“ per month in the first year!

Damn! Wish dels were more available where i live.

The pollis are doing well so far.
It‘s nice to see them cruising around the tank and exploring everything.
They even animate the Dels to move around a bit more :D

I realised one of the Pollis is more bright and has a flatter head than the other two.
Could this be a hybrid?
