My Devil Cats

Thank you!!!!! I know that info on these guys is limited and that they seem like the new fad among catfish, but I just wanted to know what I really had, so that in the future I can create an environment suitable for cats of that size. One other question though, do they have a water preference? When I got him from jeff, he told me that they would be suited just fine in my South American set-up, any thoughts? Thanks

I am inclined to agree. I too have a rutilus. She was by far and away at her best in every way while I had her living in a blackwater tank.

As for the size of your fish, you don't have to worry so much as you would if you had a HLG. That fish is unlikely to exceed 2' in a tank and it'll take a very long time to get there.

Damn Matt! Your basement is gonna be SICK!!! I'd turn your entire basement into 1 freakin huge ass tank seaworld status! That's just a pipe dream though. Lookin good though. Can't wait till it's finished!

Got the current set up of the current cats into the basement and all set up. FX5 is up and running as well. Fish arent eating yet, but I will give them a few days to relax. ill throw up some pics from my established 55 grow out
