Did you use all the stress coat or is there some left you could have tested? And I would get a sample of the water too if you haven't flushed it all with large WC yet. Someone owes you an apology, explanation, and money.

there is plenty left. I even used a lower dose because im always scared of **** like this happening. I havent dont anything to the tank yet. I am running an fx5 on the thing so I will have to gut that too. My oscars are in 5 gallon buckets cause all other tanks are full :( I agree. I am calling the manufacturer tomorrow. I talked to Necronis and I am sending him the bodies and he will determine cause of death when he does the autopsy. He said he has heard of bad batches wiping tanks before. I think thats exactly what happened here. A Golden Mahseer that big costs a lot of money :( and the goonch cats did as well. those three alone looking at easily over $1000. I am going to take this as far as I have to and to be honest if they do not replace the fish I am going to take them to court.

Definitely, the goonch pair alone are pushing $500 or more id imagine. But this is a wake up call to me in a way, I've sort of always left it to the "professionals" who develop conditioners and such to do it right and do it well. This is obviously not the case. There is no warning label that says "hey if this is bad it'll wipe your tank" so I think either way this ends you're entitled to $$$ and if it does end up in court you've got a community of witnesses and experts at your side. But it seems very cut and dry to me. Someone's mistake cost you a lot of money and not only that the time and care you invested in those fish.

Thanks Will. I really appreciate this. What upsets me the most is these fish were the ones that suffered in the end. I put a product I have learned to trust and I think the majority of us have every time we crack a bottle of the stuff into my tank and it cost the lives of my most prized fish collection. I have quite a few people already telling me they would give testimony for me. The goonch cats are fish I have really taken time to study and care for and the scary part is with the quality control on the products it could happen to any of us :( It made me re think my whole involvement in the hobby. Honestly though the research I have done on these fish is far too valuable for me to just step out now. I am going to move forward, but I will never put any conditioners in at all anymore. I just cant say I will ever trust it again. :( I hope no one else has to go through this.

Sorry for the loss mate that a real kick in the balls whats happened to you :irked:
