Good stuff here guys, I have been making my own food for years. I have not used gelatin as a binder but I may give it a try on a mix for my big cats. I use a modified version of the Gwynnbrook Farm recipe which you can find here:

At little more hardcore than what I make...I don't use a yard rake to mix the ingredients

I'll have to give this a try. I bet I could get the red fins on my Bluegill to POP. And Pleco food that wouldnt need to be tied down? Sweet.
