Looks pretty solid to me, I see a lot of wood resting directly on wood. What's going on top?

5'x2'x2.5' glass tank
Not sure on stock list yet.
Either ca/sa cichlid community or just a jardini. And some bichirs

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Its my first tank stand build. Can't wait to get her done.
Other than PaulW's suggestion on the OSB, anyone feel that I need to do anything differently?
I'll be skinning it next week when I get some time :D

Hate to break the news to ya, but he is NOT eating! :irked:
Definitely no pellets. Doesn't eat freeze dried; blood worms, brine shrimp,
beef heart.
The 4 days I've had him he ate one little piece of market prawn (1/4 of a whole which I cut into pieces).
Chews things up and spits em out. Doesn't even pay attention to pellets at all. Thats a shame.

I have a gut feeling that all this f1 Jag had in his life were feeders.
FYI I don't feed feeders that is exactly why I asked you about his diet before
buying. I feel like I got tricked by a little kid.

A little overkill for my taste since its going to be relatively heavy to pick up! But its all good. Anyone else notice the 240z? :naughty:

Good eye! :D
Its actually a 280z, s30 nonetheless.

Yeah I was thrown off by the rear view side mirror as well. Used to seeing the older dinky looking gaudy chrome one's on there. My very good friend has a 71' 240z that we are working on. So yep! Nice cars & stands. ;)

Yeah expensive hobby, both of them :grinno:
What motor are you guys swapping for? :D

He's building the straight six, but for now he is going with a chevy 350 (and he's Filipino) But he couldn't pass up a good deal on a 3k built 350 motor for 800 from another friend of ours. He is a die hard datsun guy and I sometimes mess with him since he is putting an american engine into. As for me, well, I am an oddball or sorts as well I guess, rotary for me.

Bet you would have guessed an SR or RB uh? :grinno:

Yup SR or RB are pretty common. That 350 motor will be barking though :naughty:
I wouldn't be surprised if your friend tears his Z a new one on suspension.
