My DIY Tank Stand

He's still working out the details, and some other stuff will be fab'd, to make sure this thing can grip the asphalt. I think the engine weighs more than the Z! Its definitely going to be a damn fast little car, but he is a purist, he will put the straight six once its finished.

i always thought the stands where a bit on the heavy side, but you guys said you would rather be safe than sorry. i will be building my stand soon, when i can afford it. what thread did you guys use as a guide when building the stands?

Hello all,
First and foremost I would like to thank all the other DIYers before me.
If it wasn't for you folks, my buddy and I wouldn't be able to build our tank stands. Question is, will it be able to park a "buick" on top? Any suggestions, or opinions are very helpful. If possible, I would like to know before I start skinning.
