Sorry for the very late response (I had forgotten that I posted in this threadAmaroSwe;4278633; said:thx m8,
Well as i wrote in the begining of the thread, i've been really buisyi have gathered all the specimens i have within a period of 3-4 months so the senegals came 2 me in these sizes.
But i can however tell you that my old senegal from a cuple years ago grew up to 8.7"-9" in 7-8 months.
What do you feed them and how big is their tank? If u dont feed them sinking pellets then you should start with it, since i started with pellets my bichirs grow like crazy in compared with the ones i had years ago that i only feed with fish, chrimp etc
). Anyway, I feed it frozen krill, and it is in my 225 gallon (72"x24"x30"). Unfortunately, I don't have anywhere to buy sinking pellets (all of the lfs around me have a very limited variety of foods, so I have a hard enough time just finding the frozen krill). I am actually beginning to wonder if it may be SB, b/c I saw a thread a few days ago in which the OP was asking whether their senegal was SB, and their sen had a very similar body shape to mine, and the majority of those who posted in that thread seemed to believe it was an SB.
