There are 6-7 I forget. There were some squabbles in the beginning but has settled. Thinking of adding some danios or tetras just to be safe. Will see.

The one I have is very active and swims everywhere. When I approach the tank it comes up to the top. Got lucky with this little guy!

Finally this little is out of the sand. Usually I’ve been seen a fin or tail end out of the sand.

Quick update. The eels have put on some size. Doing well and eating lots and lots. The red fin eel is a bit picky but is coming around. Loves to burrow in the sand. Will be getting some more sand in the tank with the next water changes. Not bothered by the other eel at all or the pikes.
