My experience with FISH ROOMS PLUS - BAD

I cant believe what I am reading. Why are you guys flaming him for this issue? I agree opening 4 threads is excessive, but this issue needs to be made known to anyone who plans to buy from this vendor. The vendor clearly states policy regarding shipping and it states...

"LIVE ARRIVAL WHEN FISH ARE DELIVERED & SIGNED FOR OVERNIGHT ONLY & FOR FISH ONLY!!!!"

"IF YOU NEGOTIATE A LOWER PRICE, YOU ARE HAGGLING AWAY YOUR LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE"

The vendor clearly states in his policy he will not guarantee live arrival on negotiated prices. Legally he is not responsible for any refunds, be it cash or store credit on future purchases. I am not so sure thats a good way to run a fish business, but thats just my personal opinion and besides the point. Sorry to say this, but you were warned in advance that something like this could happen with negotiated prices. If you dont like a vendors policies or prices then don't buy from him!
 
Phoenixx has hit it on the head - While I may have overlooked the policy on the no warranty with negotiated prices (Guess it includes negotiating a few bucks off) it certainly is not an admirable way to conduct business, moreover the vendor's comment earlier was ... to be quite frank... highly unprofessional. Calling himself a prick. Is that supposed to be a sales pitch?
There is also the fact that everybody I talk to, now, will come away hearing that I've had this experience.

If I had a business, I would definitely not want that to happen.
 
I fully support consumer rights, however, to be clear I don't believe Fish Room Plus is in the wrong. It may not be admirable, but it is store policy. It costs Fish Room Plus money to properly package and ship fish. If you cut their prices then dont expect their guarentees. Plain and simple. Thank you for relating your experience. Sorry for your loss.
 
i dont know about where you live, but it has been -30's in the night early morning, so i dont think i would buy fish online because they would never make the shipment, its bound to happen in this extreamly cold weather

That is why most reputable sellers usually state something about holding shipments until temps are above a certain point.

stop trying to bring him down, you cant, he is too respected and awsome. read his terms next time dork.
