My expert oppinion

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Can a fish be aggressive towards a specific attribute like color. One of my fish is only aggressive towards orange fish because it lived and chased one orange fish throughout my tank now lives with 3. That would be interesting with a dovii, it just charges at anyone wearing a color.:D

Well in any opinion it's just an opinion. Not scientific. I'll admit this thread gave me a chuckle but good for you on your conclusion.

YeahSqueeky: Yes, colors/similar body shape/etc can all create agression in fish who aren't agressive to none simliar fish.

yes it is my oppinion..

When did we all become experts? And dovii88, If I remember your setup correctly (20 highly agressive, large growing fish shoved into a WW3 55 gallon) I;d guess most of your fish are forced into agression. Or did you ever upgrade?

nah i did...all thats in the 55..is the red devil..my two eels..the polys are in a 20 longs..and well the dovii and freddies are in another 55 till income taxes arive..

I have come to the conclusion that parachromis dovii may be the largest guapote, but parachromis friedricksthelli is more aggressive for its size..

very funny everyone...hahah laugh it up..good thing i have a sense of humor

If all this is true, don't you want to change your signature?

"Just say to yourself in your head dovii's only have two predators, man, and caimans..... and that is why they are the greatest, well the greatest if you don't count the Freddy....DOH!!.... and remember that when you buy any other fish once again, with the exception of the mighty Freidricksthelli :swear: , they just get :owned:"

How many of each do you have in that 55,and what size at the moment?

Everyone is entitle to their opinion but to me that one means ****.
If the Freddies are the same size as the Dovii that means the Dovii must be much younger and therefore of course they will be less aggressive.
I sure hope your expert opinion hasn't come from watching 6" fish. How big are they?

I was just going to say that. Unless they're all mature, which they arent if they're the same size, you can't come to any solid conclusion.
