the others are kept all together so their usually stressed :[ waiting to get a bigger tank i want to grow them all out to a bigger size to see what patterns they come out with, their a tad small ranging from 1"-2.5"
to maximise the growth of the remainder, try get them a 55G for themselves, do 20% water changes every other day and feed small amounts 5 times a day, keep as much flow on water as possible because then there will be more oxygen in water giving the fish more energy then they will grow faster..
festae are very slow growing as im sure you have found out.
there will always be a few who dont grow very fast if your keeping them in one tank as there will be a few dominant and then a few who dont get much food.
in my 80G growout ive got, 6 F1 N.grammodes 3 of which are about 2.5" and the other three about 1" due to the dominant others

yea its the same case in my 30g grow out, i have about 3 tanks in my room alone lol, 55,40,30 all i here is running water all night haha. i might just end up selling them.

i think it's male, theres to many blue specs on it to be a female.
look at the male parent, it looks identical to that, just small in mass.

its not fully matured so it hasnt lost all the blue speckling, anyways there are females out there which do have blue speckling still left of the body when fully matured.Dmaan.;2430372; said:
